Guinness has never used any publicity gimmick, no Guinness's publicity strategy is simple - it's something that is eternal, timeless and spaceless.

True, there is another very interesting fact associated with Guinness beer. For example, at one time, Guinness beer was considered ... medicine. And it's a fact, Guinness has been used as a remedy for all ailments - for pain, for digestive problems, for nervous disorders and insomnia problems. Of course, alcohol does have medicinal properties, and therefore Guinness beer was sometimes treated quite successfully, but still, few alcoholic drinks can boast of being used purely as a medicine.

Another successful advertising find by Guinness was an advertisement with the famous movie star Rutger Hauer - the famous actor's light-colored hair contrasted very well with the dark color of Guinness beer. So Rutger Hauer became a kind of Guinness mascot, which also contributed to the popularity of the brand.

Also, some experts attribute the success and popularity of Guinness beer to the fact that the name is very similar to the word "Genius" (that is, "Genius"). And at one time Guinness even used the slogan - "Pure genius", also noticing this similarity.

But, whatever the reason, Guinness is now undoubtedly the most famous and most iconic brand among an incredible number of different brewing brands.
