Camel. Famous iconic brand

Today, the Camel brand is somehow slowing down, although once Camel cigarettes were known no worse than the legendary Marlboro. However, the Camel brand nevertheless remains a cult one and holds an honorable fifth place among other tobacco brands.

Camel. Iconic brand

But, even though Camel is not the best-selling cigarette in the world, they still went down in history thanks to a very original advertisement. It consisted in the fact that one day in many newspapers there were images of camels with the inscription "Camel" (which means "camel"). This was back in 1913 in the United States. The next day, readers could see in the newspapers the same image of an exotic animal with the menacing caption "Camels are coming!" A day later, the signature became absolutely crazy: “Tomorrow there will be more camels in the city than in Asia and Africa combined!” It is not known what the readers of the press thought - whether they threw themselves from the windows, or took out guns from the cellars, but the next day their lives and minds were threatened only by modest cigarettes with a camel on a pack.

Another interesting story happened when the musical team of the same name "Camel" released their album with a cover identical to the picture of a cigarette pack. And since many people began to resent such an album cover, the Camel group, before touring in Europe, agreed with a tobacco company and they released cigarettes with the cover of the group's album.

And there is another significant difference between Camel cigarettes. It is that any Camel cigarette contained a mixture of Turkish tobacco and Virginian tobacco. What is special about this mixture? Yes, the fact that this mixture later began to be considered the standard of tobacco quality and even received a separate name - American Blend. Later, the inscription American Blend adorned many different cigarette packs, even those that had a different composition of tobacco in cigarettes.

So, these Camel cigarettes are not so simple. And there is nothing to say about the iconic cult brand Camel. It is not for nothing that Camel is now well sold in more than a hundred countries around the world, although, of course, there are many more countries where you can buy these cigarettes - they are smuggled in, faked, etc.) And although the Ministry of Health does not approve of smoking, the cult brand Camel is still took its place among the most famous brands in the world.
