This is how Virgin Cola, Virgin Books, Virgin Radio, Virgin Vodka, Virgin Sun, Virgin mobile phones, Virgin Megastores and even Virgin Condoms were born.

True, Branson was not always able to successfully resist competitors. So, for example, the idea of Virgin Cola failed. The same thing happened with Virgin Brides. However, other areas of Virgin have been quite successful and have brought Virgin worldwide success.

And often the success of one or another division depended on Richard Branson, who popularized sub-brands with the help of unusual advertising campaigns.

However, Branson's success in such diverse fields has surprised the world and made the Virgin brand one of the most popular and most extraordinary.

But the Virgin experts themselves call the secret of their own success a special approach to business, which they called the "secondary engine of success." According to this approach, Virgin was trying to fill a niche in the market where there was a real need for its services, but at the same time, before starting work, the company's specialists studied the mistakes and failures of other companies that had already tried to fill this niche. That is, Virgin developed by learning from the mistakes of other companies. A very interesting and useful marketing ploy.
