Sony. Famous iconic brand
The iconic Sony brand is quite interesting. First of all, his extraordinary approach to doing business. Perhaps Sony is the only company that is trying to get ahead of human civilization in technical inventions. And so far, she is doing well.
Who is the inventor of the color video recorder? Of course Sony. Who first launched an audio player on the market? Again, it was Sony with their Walkman masterpiece. But all sorts of experts predicted a quick death for the player. And where are these specialists now? And Sony is still on the wave of success and players have now become an almost necessary thing (at least more than ninety percent of humanity thinks so). And let's not even talk about the popularity of the Walkman. This is a separate brand.
Even the famous Sony Playstation game console owes its popularity to a large extent precisely because Sony preferred cd-rom discs that had just appeared at that time. As Sony founder Akio Morita said very well about this: “People don’t even know that we make the impossible possible.”
But back to the Sony brand. Of course, not all of the company's inventions were really in demand. Many things turned out to be unnecessary for mankind (although, knowing Sony's innovation, one can clarify - "not needed yet"). However, the demanded things blocked the "failures" with a vengeance.
By the way, despite the obvious leadership in the production of the latest digital equipment, Sony is also exploring other territories. One of Sony's most successful acquisitions was the acquisition of Columbia Pictures Entertainment. So many popular movies (like "Charlie's Angels") also owe their appearance to Sony.
However, not everything Sony prefers innovation. Sometimes the company is terribly conservative. The same Akio Morita paid a lot of attention to the human factor. Even at the expense of profits. For example, Sony has repeatedly abandoned the latest inventions in the field of production only in order not to deprive people of their jobs. When the company could have bought better equipment and reduced staff, Akio Morita chose not to, wisely saying, "Never take a piece from your neighbor."
So the iconic Sony brand can boast not only that it always goes ahead of the development of human civilization, but also that the company's representatives think about people. After all, Sony creates its own products, taking into account that branded products are convenient for people both in price and in use.
