Kellogg's. Famous iconic brand

If you want to create an iconic brand, then the history of the Kellog's brand can serve as a good example.

And the history of the Kellog's brand began with corn flakes, which - that's strange! - were developed at the Western Institute of Body Rejuvenation.

Kellogg's. Iconic brand

This institution is already very unusual in itself. After all, he owes his creation to the film by Alan Parker "The Road to Velville". This film impressed many people so much that they took it almost like a religious cult. According to the plot of the film, the Kellogg brothers - John and William - come up with a special diet food ground grain, which helps to treat digestive problems.

However, in reality, only William was smart enough to open his own company, which produced products from grain grinding. And although at first not everything worked out for William (during a fire, the first enterprise burned down completely), nevertheless, he did not stop and eventually made a real cult out of his products.

William Kellogg spent so much money on advertising that soon everyone knew about Kellog's. On every box of cereal, people saw the word Kellog's, so that soon there were almost no people left who would not know about the branded product. And the costs soon paid off - Kellog's earnings began to grow. So in the end, as a sign of financial superiority, a huge company sign was erected in Time Square.

Now the word Kellog's in the USA and in many other countries of the world is known no less than Corn Flakes.

But the most important thing is that Kellog's products, despite the high prices (due to the fact that a large part of the income goes to advertising costs), are actively bought all over the world. Kellog's is produced in 19 countries and sold in over 160.

Although now the company's marketers are trying not to overestimate the cost of advertising, thereby reducing the price of the product. But, in any case, the oblivion of the cult brand Kellog's in the coming years does not threaten and for many more years people will spend a lot of money on branded Kellog's products.
