Ibanez. Famous iconic brand
The history of the Ibanez music brand is quite interesting. Because originally Ibanez is the name of the Spanish guitar maker Salvador Ibanez. Ivanez's guitars were famous for their quality, and one Japanese firm, namely Hoshino Gakki, decided to import these guitars to the Japanese market.
The Japanese were very actively buying up Spanish guitars, but soon a civil war broke out in Spain and Ivanez's workshop was destroyed. And here the Hoshino Gakki company decided on a very bold step - they began to produce guitars themselves.
It would probably be correct to say that it was at this time that the original Ibanez guitar and the brand of the same name appeared. The idea justified itself - the Japanese also willingly bought locally produced guitars. Hoshino Gakki began to develop and soon the limits of only one country were small. And Hoshino Gakki began to export guitars of its own production to Europe and America.
This is how Ibanez guitars became known to the whole world. And the name Ibanez sounded differently - in the English manner. And by the way, Ibanez turned out to be the first Japanese music brand to earn trust in the West.
Now the Ibanez music brand is recognized all over the world, and many famous musicians used and use this brand guitars - among them Joe Satriani, Steve Way, Paul Gilbert, Kevin Wasserman (Offspring), Mick Thomson and Paul Gray (Slipknot), Munky and Fieldy (KoYan) and others.
