Heineken. Famous iconic brand
The iconic brand Heineken is one of the most interesting brands. Firstly, because the company's products (namely, Heineken beer) are distinguished by their special taste, which is why many people recognize Heineken even when there is no company label on the bottles. Secondly, it is that the Heineken branded drink is known in the world more than in its own homeland - Holland. We can safely say that Heineken is the most popular in its niche in the global market.
The history of Heineken began with the fact that the Dutchman Gerard Adrian Heineken conceived the release of his own beer. To begin with, Heineken studied the entire beer market in Europe and how it is produced. And in the end I decided to make beer from barley malt, hops and, in fact, water. This is how the signature taste of Heineken beer was born. And the Heineken taste became recognizable because Heineken agreed with many beer producers (primarily foreign ones) to produce and sell Heineken beer, providing them with a branded recipe for their drink in exchange for their offer.
A good marketing ploy was the idea of Heineken, who from the very beginning began to sell branded goods through supermarket chains all over the world. Thanks to this, Heineken has become more famous all over the world than in his native Holland.
In addition, Heineken was helped a lot by the fact that he began to export his beer to America, where Prohibition had just been abolished, so that Heineken had few competitors.
But Heineken did not stop there. One of his best ideas was to sponsor various events and competitions, thanks to which Heineken managed to attract the attention of many people to his products and get additional advertising. For example, Heineken has been a rugby and golf sponsor for many years, and the company also sponsors jazz music festivals.
So, thanks to skillful advertising, proper marketing promotion and, of course, corporate taste, Heineken beer quickly conquered the whole world and became one of the most famous beer brands in the world.
Now Heineken products are actively sold in more than 170 countries of the world, and at least 23 million hectoliters of Heineken beer are produced annually. No other brand among all the world's beer producers can boast of such fame and purchase as the cult brand Heineken.
