Adidas. Famous iconic brand

There is a lot to be said about the famous iconic brand Adidas and its founder. Enough even for a whole book. Unfortunately, you can’t tell everything, but one thing is certain – this brand really deserves to become a real cult.

Adidas. Brand

And the history of this brand began small - with the fact that one German family - Dassler - began to sew sleeping slippers from the remnants of military clothing and old tires.

But Adi Dassler decided not to limit himself to slippers. And since he himself was fond of sports, he invented nothing less than the world's first studded sports shoes (for football players). And these shoes turned out to be so much more successful than ordinary shoes (and what football players didn’t use during the game then) that the athletes, having once experienced spikes, henceforth used only them.

In creating sports shoes, Dassler showed his talents, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the brand name - these are just the initial syllables of the name of the founder of the company, Adi Dassler (at first it was even more primitive - Addas, and even earlier - just Dassler).

Another interesting fact worth mentioning is that Adi first worked with his brother Rudy. But they could not establish a common cause and dispersed, dividing the property. As a result, Adi registered Adidas, and his brother created Puma, also a very famous company and brand. Adi Dassler and his company had a lot of problems - during the war, the Germans simply took over the factory, and then forced them to sew shoes for the soldiers. In addition, the company had to keep its positions won by Puma and other companies. But Dassler also did not sit idle.

Developing sports success, Dassler invented several types of more comfortable and specialized shoes - boots with removable spikes, boots for playing in the snow, boots for running and others, and later showed amazing knowledge of marketing: he signed an agreement with the Olympic Committee, and did not lose - at the Olympics Athletes dressed in Adidas won many gold medals. Dassler also decided to explore new horizons and began to try himself in other areas - for example, the idea of producing sports bags turned out to be very successful.

True, it must be admitted that at one time Adidas began to lose ground, but in time, invited marketers and designers from the famous American company Nike breathed new life into Adidas, and the company expanded the scope of its sales by starting production in other countries.

So now "Adidas" is on the rise again and many eminent athletes (David Beckham, Ziniddin Zidane and others) are happy to use and advertise the products of this company, and the German brand "Adidas" is perceived not only as a world-famous sports shoes and clothing, but also as high quality, fashionable style, reliable and durable.
